When we moved to Texas in 2016, I quickly discovered a Texan tradition – photographing children in a field of bluebonnets! When 2017 bluebonnet season came around, I took the opportunity to get a quick portrait of my young son. It was an interesting experience because I had my 3.5 week old infant with me in a Lillebaby carrier and it was my first session since she had been born. My son wasn’t very interested in sitting still but I brought along his favorite candy as a bribe. The nice thing about photography is that you don’t have to keep the outtakes! Haha! I’m glad I went even though it was challenging.
